Should I write more often?

I just realized I've not written since Nov 07!  Whew, that was awhile ago!  Most of you know already that we sold our old house in Södertälje and moved to Tumba the first of February 2008.  We are really enjoying our new place and slowly making it home. We hope to install a gate in the front and fencing in the backyard so that we don't have to worry as much about hte kids when they are out back. There is forest behind our house so they could get pretty far if they decided to.  It's very calm, peaceful, almost meditative here with all this nature around. Many neighbors have dogs here and so we'll be working with Vidar as he is afraid of dogs (and has been for many years now).

Freja has decided she's had it with diapers and potty learned herself maybe 6 weeks ago. I still put a diaper on for bedtime as I'm just too tired to help her remove her pjs so she can go pee in the morning. She asks for dipes when she needs to poo although she tries to sit down on the potty first usually. We're very pleased that we'll probably have only one baby in diapers when this lil one arrives in July! She's recently become obsessed with flowers and butterflies. She's got all her teeth as far as I can tell and she's still nursing occasionally despite my milk being gone for the past few weeks. I'm hoping she will nurse for a bit longer after the baby arrives in order to help me avoid engorgement and mastititus during those first 3 months post partum.

Vidar learned to ride his tricycle April 25th. He's so proud of himself and takes every opportunity to be outside on his trike and explore the area. We'll be taking him around and showing him where he's NOT to go when mama and pappa are not with him.  He's been great at cycling around the area in front of the house where we can see him. He's also recently started being quite the polite boy in thanking everyone for everything; it's rather funny and sweet of course.

They both are starting to enjoy helping us out in the kitchen and with cleaning and not minding picking up their toys when we ask them to help out.

Pregnancy is going great. I'm now 30 weeks along and the baby is quite strong and fairly active. I've not felt sick or puked in a couple weeks now and am able to eat quite a good variety of food again. In fact I feel spoiled this week from our menu! YUM YUM! My only complaints right now are the soreness in my pelvis from everything getting loose in preparation for the birth.

I love that spring is here and the long sunny days and warmth feel great! Mika is headed to Paris, France, this weekend with work. I'm envious, but hope he enjoys it.
