Amadeus has rolled from belly to back. He loves to stand and jump and our arms are getting tired.
Freja totally digs cars, especially the ones from teh Pixar film "Cars". She amazingly enough still takes naps in the afternoon almost every day. She loves going outside for walks and takes her toys on walks in her doll stroller. She finds dolls that look life like scary and does not want any. Jumping from high places and saying "BIG JUMP MAMMA!" is one of her favorite past times.
Vidar got a new Wii game called Super Smash Bros Brawl and he's enjoying that one. He loves Amadeus and has told him so several times now. He wants Amadeus to be in the room with him a lot and often tells him to look at what Vidar is doing. I find it sweet.

Amadeus was 3 months old and measured 62 cm (24.4 inches) and 6 kg (13.2 lbs). His reflexes, heart, lung, mouth, and ears all looked great for his age. At that point he had rolled over from his back onto his belly, grabbing toys and bringing them to his mouth, and getting a bit better at belly time for short amounts of time.
Freja and Vidar also had great heart, lung, mouth and ears. Vidar got to help the doctor check out Amadeus which was fun. :)

Never know what to title these.
Amadeus, as of last Tuesday, now weighs in at 4560 grams (just over 10 lbs) and is 56 cm (22 inches) long. He's quite active and alert, loves nursing, using his voice and lifting and turning his head to look around while belly to belly on us.
Vidar is approx 108 cm (42.5 inches) tall (He kept going on his toes so we're not exactly sure, lol) and 16.2 kg (35.7 lbs). He's talking fairly well now with pronouns and verbs more or less right and in the correct order. Very active and is enjoying his time playing with tennis rackets and balls as well as bats and a tennis ball and kicking a soccer ball around with Mika and Freja.
Freja is 12.6 kg (27.7 lbs). She's recently learned to jump off of higher places than usual, can jump over things, and loves being spun around and doing daring things. She's constantly wowing us with where she ends up. She's bound and determined to do what she wants, when she wants, how she wants and all by herself if that's possible.
Mika and I are exhausted as expected and glad he has at least 2 more weeks of vacation left. I kind of can't believe I've actually made it to 30 years old and look forward to this decade as supposedly these are the best years. :) Anyway, Amadeus is crying for me, so I must end this now Hope everyone else is enjoying their summer (or winter).

Our baby is here!
Our son was born July 11, 2008, at 6:07am. He weighed in at 4075 grams (9 lbs) and was approx 48 cm (19 inches) long! The labor was a short and intensive 3 hours. We've not decided on a name yet and we will post that when we finally do decide. We have 3 months to decide so it may take some time. Today, Saturday, my milk came in and he is now happily nursing many hours of the day away.
Freja and Vidar are giving him space, but watching him curiously and talking about what he does (sleeping or nursing usually heheh). They seem happy to have a baby brother as far as we can tell though.
I'm beat and recovering from the birth. I will probably be offline for a week or so, though I can use the laptop to check email from time to time as I feel up to it.

Should I write more often?
I just realized I've not written since Nov 07! Whew, that was awhile ago! Most of you know already that we sold our old house in Södertälje and moved to Tumba the first of February 2008. We are really enjoying our new place and slowly making it home. We hope to install a gate in the front and fencing in the backyard so that we don't have to worry as much about hte kids when they are out back. There is forest behind our house so they could get pretty far if they decided to. It's very calm, peaceful, almost meditative here with all this nature around. Many neighbors have dogs here and so we'll be working with Vidar as he is afraid of dogs (and has been for many years now).
Freja has decided she's had it with diapers and potty learned herself maybe 6 weeks ago. I still put a diaper on for bedtime as I'm just too tired to help her remove her pjs so she can go pee in the morning. She asks for dipes when she needs to poo although she tries to sit down on the potty first usually. We're very pleased that we'll probably have only one baby in diapers when this lil one arrives in July! She's recently become obsessed with flowers and butterflies. She's got all her teeth as far as I can tell and she's still nursing occasionally despite my milk being gone for the past few weeks. I'm hoping she will nurse for a bit longer after the baby arrives in order to help me avoid engorgement and mastititus during those first 3 months post partum.
Vidar learned to ride his tricycle April 25th. He's so proud of himself and takes every opportunity to be outside on his trike and explore the area. We'll be taking him around and showing him where he's NOT to go when mama and pappa are not with him. He's been great at cycling around the area in front of the house where we can see him. He's also recently started being quite the polite boy in thanking everyone for everything; it's rather funny and sweet of course.
They both are starting to enjoy helping us out in the kitchen and with cleaning and not minding picking up their toys when we ask them to help out.
Pregnancy is going great. I'm now 30 weeks along and the baby is quite strong and fairly active. I've not felt sick or puked in a couple weeks now and am able to eat quite a good variety of food again. In fact I feel spoiled this week from our menu! YUM YUM! My only complaints right now are the soreness in my pelvis from everything getting loose in preparation for the birth.
I love that spring is here and the long sunny days and warmth feel great! Mika is headed to Paris, France, this weekend with work. I'm envious, but hope he enjoys it.
